On May 28th, Talk2Me Foundation, through our Cycle Care Project, in collaboration with Chance 2 Mental Wellness & Recovery Hub Ghana Foundation and partners, successfully marked International Menstrual Hygiene Day at Sarpeiman Pentecost Church.

We are building a world where menstruation is no longer a barrier to education, health, and dignity.
Over 300 participants, including menstruating girls, boys, teachers, and community members, gained vital knowledge on menstrual health, nutrition, and mental well-being. Health professionals led interactive sessions, boys were engaged as allies, and teachers were equipped to support menstrual health education.
A major highlight was the distribution of Cycle Care Packs containing sanitary pads, hand sanitizer, tissue, supplements, and hot water bottles — ensuring girls have the resources to manage menstruation with dignity.
This initiative, under the Cycle Care Project, broke myths, reduced stigma, and empowered girls to stay in school confidently. Together, we are building a world where menstruation is no longer a barrier to education, health, and dignity.
